| As of last week, I am officially done with school!!!
| | |
| As much as I'm enjoying school this semester. It's making me forgetful. For example, today, I forgot to Bring Ben chips for lunch (15 minutes after I'd told him I would). I forgot to pick up Ben's cards and bring them to him in the car when I picked up his cell phones which were sitting right next to them. And...I forget what else I forgot today...
Anyways...you get the point. For some reason, keeping track of everything I have to do for school is causing me to forget lots of other things very odd. I just hope it doesn't get any worse. I'll be forgetting my car keys, and purse, and who knows what else...

| Well...we went door-to-door for the first time today for Ruthie. It's really funny, everyone I talked to told me that as long as she was not an incumbent they would consider voting for her. I'm glad she's not!

| That's the moment I realized the person I was working with knew absolutely nothing about computers...
I was running the sound and slideshow for a recent women's event at church. The lady leading the sound has brought her laptop with a powerpoint on it with the words to the songs. Well...right before she stared singing I noticed that the computer was in standby so I hit the power button to bring it out of standby, as it's coming out, the screen tells me that the battery is critically low (the laptop had been on for about an hour) so...I hunt in the computer bag under the projector stand (I assume this is the laptop bag) for a power chord and find none.
First silly question of the night, she steps off the stage after the first song to ask what the problem is, I say "do you have a power chord for this?" knowing she doesn't, I just looked
Second silly question, her response to my question was, "no, I didn't know that I needed one (I'm really wondering what she expected the laptop to run on...air mabe?), can't you just connect power to it?", I indicated that this was probably not possible without the power chord and we sang the songs without words on the screen.

| I'm so happy to be starting my last semester. With my interests continually turning elsewhere this past six months it's been a real challenge to stick with it, but I think that with just six months to go, I can make it.
I enjoy studying, don't think that I'm not enjoying myself, only, theres so many other things that I enjoy even more that I've had to put on hold to finish school. I'm sooooo looking forward to picking all those things back up. (plus the very large list of things I want to do that has built up over the past four years).
